LUNAFEST 2020

East Los Angeles Women's Center is once again partnering with LUNAFEST to showcase a collection of short films by and about women. Join us on September 24, 2020 to experience this traveling film festival, virtually, while supporting the essential work of ELAWC helping women and their families find esperanza or hope in their lives.

These specially curated films, intended for an audience of 14 years and older, tackle issues such as motherhood, gender identity, recovering from sexual abuse, and coming-of-age in a "global" social world.

100% of proceeds from your virtual ticket to LUNAFEST will go toward the COVID –19 Rapid Response Fund directly benefiting the women and families of ELAWC with life-saving essentials like: transportation, hotel vouchers, rent, groceries.

The 90-minute festival can be enjoyed anytime from 9am Sept 24th - 9am on Sept 25th. With your registration, you'll receive a streaming link and passcode valid for 24-hrs.

Our live program begins at 6 pm where we'll welcome you, screen a sneak peek of LUNAFEST Film and a Local Film.
