I have been part of this agency for 26 years. I started out taking the sexual assault certified training to become a volunteer and I had no idea that this was going to change my life. I started out as a hotline specialist and later became the volunteer coordinator and went on to become the Director of Sexual Assault Services. My heart is here with the East Los Angeles Women's Center and also with all of the survivors that trust us enough to share their stories. This is truly the "Place where your silence is heard".
