Con Los Padres Fatherhood Program
Every fall and spring, ELAWC hosts the Con Los Padres Fatherhood Program — a place where men can share experiences and discuss issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and anger in a confidential and supportive circulo.
The 12-week program reinforces positive cultural values and focuses on building, strengthening, and maintaining positive and healthy relationships between fathers and father figures, their children, partners, families, and the community.
Through a guided process men are encouraged to share their lived experiences, reflections, and lessons learned to encourage personal transformation and healing. Topics include coping, conflict resolution skills, anger management, healthy relationships, bonding, loss & separation.
