I joined the board of the East Los Angeles Women’s Center in 2023 because I believe women are the backbone of our communities. When we support women and children, we create stronger families, safer neighborhoods, and a more connected, compassionate world. Serving on the Fundraising Committee allows me to use my creativity and network to help sustain the incredible work the Center does every day. Being part of ELAWC feels deeply aligned with who I am and what I value — supporting healing, dignity, and hope for every woman and family who walks through their doors.

For 50 years, ELAWC has been a vital part of our community, providing support, advocacy, and hope for women, survivors, and families. This special evening is an opportunity to come together, celebrate the impact of the past five decades, and help support the important work that continues today.
