Despertando los Sentidos | Awakening the Senses | In-person, 5-week Circle for DV survivors (Spanish) 

Despertando los Sentidos is the first phase of a Restorative Justice (RJ) healing journey, serving as a foundation before Lunas de Transformación. These circles invite Latinx women — especially survivors of domestic violence — into a gentle process of returning to themselves. Through sensory awareness, somatic grounding, and collective reflection, participants reconnect with their bodies and inner wisdom, learning to feel safe, rooted, and whole. This phase nurtures self-trust and empowerment, preparing participants to later engage in deeper RJ processes — where accountability, healing, and restoration become possible. Here, we begin by awakening the senses to remember our own power, voice, and capacity to transform pain into strength.
